We designed and project managed a comprehensive security upgrade to enhance site safety and controlled access across the facility. The solution included installation of turnstiles for managed entry, exterior bollards for vehicle mitigation, Code Blue emergency stations for rapid response, and integrated intercom systems for secure communication at access points.
The project improved perimeter protection, streamlined visitor flow, and strengthened emergency response capability through a fully coordinated, end-to-end security design and deployment.

Education
Design and implementation of a video distribution system over CAT6 infrastructure to all classrooms within a secondary school. The solution enabled centralized routing and distribution of AV content across the campus using structured cabling, providing reliable signal delivery for instructional content, announcements, and multimedia resources. The system was engineered for scalable deployment, consistent performance, and simplified content management across all learning spaces.
Entertainment & Sporting Venues
A Local curling club engaged DVAI to design and commission the audio visual requirements for their new facility in west Ottawa. We completed a needs assessment and made recommendations, and integrated the selected solutions into the overall construction package.
Government & Public Sector
Ingenium engaged DVAI to design the audio-visual and security systems for the new Collections and Conservation Centre to accommodate their corporate offices and warehousing. Our role was to facilitate a needs assessment, present options and recommendations to senior management, and integrate the selected solutions into the overall construction package. Further we were responsible to install and commission the Passive Optical Network and associated cabling that supports all building technologies.
House of Worship
A local architect engaged Davidson Violette to design and integrate all technologies for a new temple in Ottawa’s south end. Our role was to complete a needs assessment, prepare recommendations, integrate the solutions into the overall construction package, and manage the procurement process and selected contractor.
