A construction firm engaged our ICAT consulting team to coordinate the integration of all technology systems for a new hospital development. Acting as the central technology integration advisor, we worked across multiple disciplines to ensure that building systems and clinical technologies were properly aligned and fully coordinated throughout design and construction.
Our scope included overseeing the integration of electrical monitoring systems, HVAC controls, lighting systems, and physical security infrastructure alongside patient-focused technologies such as RTLS (real-time location services) and nurse call systems. We also coordinated the design and implementation of audio-visual systems and digital signage to support both clinical operations and patient experience.
