As a full-time field-services business technology technician, you will join one of the area’s fastest growing technology companies. Working independently and as part of a team, you will install end-to-end technology systems and infrastructures for network, audio-visual and security. Your responsibilities will include installation of copper and optical cabling, IT/AV/Security equipment and systems, and you will work in a variety of settings that provide opportunity, reward and room for growth. Our work is both local and International, so the ideal candidate may be required to travel.

We are looking for those with experience in communications or a related field, that are dependable and motivated.

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently or as part of a team to install and commission business technology systems and related infrastructures

  • Perform testing and labeling of cabling and equipment

  • Operate test equipment

  • Complete post-installation documentation and acceptance reviews

Requirements:

Mandatory

  • Valid Class G driver’s license

  • Secret Level II security clearance

  • Neat appearance

Other

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to read and follow floor plans

  • Self-starter who is dependable

  • Work often involves ladders and lifting

  • Problem-solver and critical thinker

  • Some networking skills preferred

Technical Experience

  • Knowledge of cabling systems, terminations and test equipment

  • Experience with power and hand tools

  • Hardware installation and commissioning

POSITION: FULL-TIME PERMANENT
