Audio-Visual Lead (201202005)

Serving as the lead of DVA's Audio-Visual Division, you will create and execute strategic sales and engineering services to grow and develop DVA’s audio-visual market and brand, utilizing our existing staff and vendor qualifications, and your enthusiasm and determination.

Direct and promote efforts to develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Participate as part of the executive team to identify, develop and direct the implementation of business strategy, especially as they relate to sales activities and maximizing opportunities. Additional executive team responsibilities include formulation / administration of company policies and development / execution of long-term strategic plans.

Requirements:

  • Extensive professional audio or broadcast industry experience
  • Leadership ability and skills including a demonstrated ability to influence and empower others
  • Ability to develop and maintain broad and strong customer relationships
  • Proven sales and market share growth via demonstrated business-decision and people skills abilities
  • Proficient presentation and communication skills on an individual and group level
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • PC proficiency

Responsibilities:

  • Actively pursue new business to penetrate and grow business; confer with potential customers regarding product needs and advise customers on types of products and solutions
  • Design and manage commissioning of professional audio-video systems completed by DVA technicians
  • Effectively manage current DVA account relationships
  • Build and strengthen relationships with vendors and service providers
  • Effectively communicate between internal departments, to manage projects
  • Represent DVA at trade shows, trade association and client meetings to promote products
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints regarding sales and service
  • Confer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services, secure information on products, and customer required specifications
